Cancun Mexico Hotel Zone

Cancun's main "Hotel Zone" lies along 14 miles of beachfront known as
"Cancun Island" within 30 minutes of Cancun International Airport.
Properties here face the Bay, the Nichupte Lagoon, or the multi-colored

Cancun is a tourist destination located in the state of Quintana Roo,
Mexico on the Yucatan peninsula in southeastern Mexico. The Hotel Zone
was established in 1971, and lies on an island, located between a large
lagoon and the Caribbean Sea. The Hotel Zone is easily accessible from
the mainland by bridges, located at each end of the island.
The local Cancun population lives in the central area of the city
proper. The Cancun Hotel Zone has more than 90 quality hotels,
five large shopping centers, restaurants, aquatic activities centers,
discos and clubs, an archaeological site, and an aquatic park. Full
